Glutton for Punishment? The Orange SPV C500
I’ve just ordered my new ‘phone upgrade; I’ve gone for a the Orange SPV C500.
Now this may be a bad thing: I currently have the SPV E100, and I swore I’d never go near another Windows-based ‘phone after the problems I’ve had with this one.

I’ve had loads of problems with my current ‘phone - it even managed to reset itself over the weekend (loosing all my settings), and for some reason the tone dialing has broken too, so I can’t use any of the “Press #1 for sales, #2 for billing…” thinggies.
We’ll see what happens, and no doubt I’ll rant about it here if it all goes wrong!

I’ve got an SPV C500. In fact I’ve had 3, about to receive the 4th tomorrow, after it locked up again. Am I the only person to suffer from this? It’s beginning to get a little tiresome.

I don’t know many people that have had smartphones, but of those that have they nearly all seem to have had problems in one way or another.
I’ve no idea why smartphones are so bad. While the idea is great (the compatibility with your desktop), the fact that the phones always break means they are no use to anyone!
I’ve switched to a nice Sony Ericsson K700i. And guess what? I can make phone calls with it!

Recently got my SPV C500 and I have to say as a geek I love it. So far I have had no problems, though annoyed with the fact that images I load to the phone to use as wallpaper all have a gap around them when saved as such, anyone know why this is? Thinking it might be something to do with image resolution in the first place?

When I had my smartphone I used the theme generator to make my themes (with desktop etc.) Try using this - it’s pretty good.
