That's about right, Stanoman. But they apepar in much the same way as comments, so spammers see the opertunity to get loads of links back to their sites. And (up until now), not many people have really moderated trackbacks.

Re. the 20D, the creative zones include Tv (shutter priority), Av (aperture priority), M (Manual) and P (Program AE). I think you meant avoid the Basic and Image Zones - which I do like the plague! I tend to leave it in aperture priority. And yes, I'm having great fun with it!

I'm not too familiar with the concept of trackback, but my understanding is that they're for bringing traffic to the site where more info on the topic at hand might be posted. How are spammers abusing this so I might watch out for it?

And - I'm eager to see some of you 20D photos. I have one myself and if you're not already, be sure to avoid using the P or Full Auto settings; or any of the creative zones for that matter. I learned quickly that you get much better results if you use the aperture, shutter and ISO setting built into the camera.

Hope you're having as much fun as I am with this outstanding camera body.
