Try looking for the 'older' cameras.
I managed to find a Canon G2 firsthand for S$250.
Later, I got the Olympus 5050.
Both are amazing.

If you want an all-in-one, try the discontinued Sony F828.
It has a 28-200 lens and starts at f2 for wide angle and f2.8 for tele.

The Ricoh's good but a bit slow, I think.
Starts f2.8 but goes to f4 - can't remember the model but the one I have has 24mm zoom.

I use that a lot when I'm too lazy to lug the Tokina 12-24mm f/4.

Hope this helps.
